Our Design Process

Have you ever wondered how a landscape project gets started?

1. Give us a call. We are committed to returning your call within one business day.
2. We schedule a one hour consultation, usually at the job site. At this meeting, we will discuss:
   • Your plant preferences and favorite design style
   • Your lifestyle and intended uses for the yard
   • Your budget (Landscape Planner) - 95% of our customers accomplish their landscape dreams in phases. We can help you get the most for our money on each phase, without sacrificing the long-term dream.
   • We'll also need a copy of the surveyor's plat, which is a drawing that shows the footprint of the house on your property. It is usually in your realtor's or builder's packet. If it is new construction, we can handle this step for you by getting it directly from your builder.
3. Depending on the scope of your project, we will start with either a conceptual drawing or go right to a detailed plan. This process usually takes 1-3 weeks. Sometimes, however, it can be done the same day.
4. We get together for a presentation meeting at which time we will show you the plan and discuss the price for installation.
5. The design will be revised if necessary.
6. Once we have accomplished your plan within your budget and have signed on the dotted line, we will discuss a tentative schedule for the installation of your landscape.
7. The landscape foreman will contact you prior to the beginning of your project and stay in contact with you throughout the entire process.
8. As you enjoy your landscape, a qualified landscape service manager will contact you, if you request this option, about scheduling care of your property.
